Ultrathin needles
In order to offer the most comfortable and painless procedure, AVALON™ fillers are administered with an ultrathin needle. In combination with the level of elasticity of hyaluronic acid, this parameter ensures easy usage and a high level of patient satisfaction. Ultrathin needles reduce the level of skin damage. In addition, discomfort related to the skin perforation by a needle is also minimised.
High-efficiency syringes
The AVALON™ filler range uses an innovative more durable syringe that has been designed for ease of operation. A specially designed thumb rest, plunger rod and finger flange (backstop) allow for a more confident grip and provide an anti-slip effect. This gives practitioners more control over injection force, as well as greater precision and more comfort.
Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid in Avalon™
MCO™ Tech. (Minimising Cross-linking-agent by Optimising reaction Technology) is a technology developed by Koru Pharmaceuticals’ R&D Institute. The cross-linking agent serves to connect hyaluronic acid chains to form a net. Through optimisation of cross-linking reaction conditions in which a chemical reaction between the cross-linking agent and HA occurs, the use of the cross-linking agent is minimised, which maximises the efficiency of the cross-linking reaction. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid chain has high viscoelasticity and a low decomposition rate in vivo, making it suitable for use in fillers. MCO™ Tech. allows AVALON™ fillers to have a constant and soft injection force while maintaining consistent particle shapes and stable viscoelasticity.
High purity and safety
Hyaluronic acid (HA) raw materials used in AVALON™ are safe and go through several stages of purification. Due to a much stricter management of impurities during production, the endotoxins of HA are minimised and are almost equal to zero. This minimises possible side and adverse reactions to the product, as well as ensuring the practitioner of the quality of the product.
Results last for 9–18 months, depending on the type of filler, nature of the procedure, and the patient’s physical characteristics.
